Hardware Specialist – Gear Guru

Job Description:
Responsible for maintaining, assembling, and troubleshooting the physical components of the drone fleet. Ensures all equipment is operational and adheres to safety standards for each performance.

Skills:

  • Some experience with drone hardware, assembly, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment for repairing electronic and mechanical systems.
  • Basic understanding of battery systems and charging protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.

Software Specialist – Code Pilot

Description:
Handles the programming and configuration of drone systems, ensuring smooth operation during shows. Manages firmware updates, system integrations, and troubleshooting software-related issues.

Skills:

  • Eager to learn drone software platforms (Crazyflie).
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, or Java) for drone control.
  • Strong attention to detail and adaptability to new technologies.

Show Programmer – Drone Whisperer

Description:
Designs and choreographs drone performances, creating captivating visuals and coordinating timing, movement, and lighting effects. Collaborates with other team members to bring creative concepts to life.

Skills:

  • Commitment to learn drone choreography software (e.g., Blender, Unity, or specialized drone show tools).
  • Strong understanding of timing, spatial design, and visual storytelling.
  • Creativity and the ability to translate ideas into executable sequences.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Performance Crew Members – Flight Deck Coordinators

Description:
Manages on-site operations during performances, including setup, take-down, and monitoring drone operations. Ensures safety protocols are followed and addresses any unexpected issues during the show.
